SELF STORAGE REGULATIONS
When planning to use self storage services you should know that there are specific requirements for the contents of your box. Some things can be stored only under certain rules, others are forbidden to keep in warehouses at all.
Self storage boxes cannot be used for the following things:
- perishable foods;
- toxic, explosive, flammable, and radioactive substances;
- cash and securities;
- prohibited goods (e.g. drugs).
However, you should know that the X-ray tubes are not radioactive when off the line, so they can be safely stored in warehouses.
The following products and goods can be put in a self storage but subject to some conditions:
- soft drinks and non-perishable foods – pasta, cereals, etc. – must be tightly packed;
- there must be no fluids (oil or petrol) in the tanks and technical compartments of motorcycles.
Moreover, we advise our customers to choose the storage on the first floor and lower shelves in the box in order to put extra heavy items (books, ceramic tiles).
You can get the detailed information on all rules and storage rental specifics in SafeSpace – order a call back from our website.
